Messages And Email

This tutorial will discuss sending messages and emails using Facebook. In the first part we will be learning how to send messages to your friends and we got 2 options to do that.

1. Option 1: In the Home Page, click the Messages icon in the upper left portion.

   

2. A pop-up window will appear. Click the Send a New Message link.

   

3. Another pop-up window will shop up. Type the name of your friend you wanted to send the message to and fill in the empty field with your message. Click the Send button. You will have sent the message to your friend!

   

4. Option 2: You can go directly to the Profile page of your friend. There click the Message button in the upper right corner of your friend's page.

   

5. You will be then directed to the Messages window. Type your message in the Message field and then click the Send button.

   

Part 2 of this tutorial will teach about sending and receiving email in Facebook.

1. In your Home Page, go to your Account Settings located in the upper right portion.

   

2. In the Account Settings window notice that your email address has been set as your Primary email. Now you can edit it by clicking the Edit link beside it.

   

3. You can add another email to your Facebook. Also Facebook will give you your Facebook email. You can use it like any other email address.
